Beautiful location near the river and mountains, providing scenic views from the rooms. Spacious double rooms that offer a comfortable stay.- Relaxing communal space with a well-equipped kitchen.- Helpful staff who are responsive and polite.- Great value for money, making it a highlight of my accommodation in the area.
The hostel is quite far from Nikko itself, with only one train an hour from Tubo World Square station. Traveling to Nikko for attractions like temples, waterfalls, and the lake can be time-consuming, taking around 40 minutes to get there and 1.5 hours to the waterfall.

I had an incredible stay at a charming hostel nestled in a serene location. The lounge area, with its stunning views of the mountains and the relaxing sound of rain, provided the perfect ambiance. The spacious kitchen allowed me to save money by preparing my own meals using ingredients from the nearby supermarket. The highlight was definitely the outdoor hot onsen, where I could unwind after a long day of exploring. The friendly reception staff made me feel welcomed and ensured I had a comfortable stay.
While there was a limited number of restaurants nearby, I found a fantastic local Izakaya that exceeded my expectations.

They claimed to have free WiFi throughout the property, but it was so slow that I ended up communicating with my brooch collection instead.
The nearest airport was in Fukushima. Great, just what I needed, a reminder of nuclear disasters while on vacation.
